Knowing Christ as Savior

by Shibu Podiyan, Washington D.C

Knowing Christ as Savior, Matt. 1:21

Matt. 1:21: And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.

Knowing Christ - this was Paul's single- hearted pursuit, Phil. 3:10; may this be our pursuit too, Lord.

Knowing Christ as Savior from sin is our first need - this is what the angel spoke of Christ, Matt. 1:21.

To know you as our Savior who died for our sins, Lord, 1 Cor. 15:3;
To know you as our Savior who saves us now “ moment by moment;
To know you as our Savior who keeps us from falling, Jude v. 24.
To know you as our Savior who washed us from our sins in our own blood, Rev. 1:5;
To know you as our Savior who washes us now “ moment by moment, 1 John 1:7;
To know you as our Savior who keeps us from falling, Jude v. 24.
To know you as our Savior who bruised the serpent's head by our death, Gen. 3:15;
To know you as our Savior who now bruises the serpent's head in our flesh, Lord
To know you as our Savior whose death we share, Rom. 6:3.
To know you as our Savior whose resurrection we share, Rom. 6:6;
To know you as our Savior who intercedes for us now, Heb. 7:25;
To know you as our Savior whose glory we shall share, 1 John 3:2-3.

Thank you for being my savior.
